my london life
I haven’t posted anything for some time now and I thought of telling you about my life in London, London has been very difficult, hectic and at the same time very expensive for me, everything involves money, even cabbage and pumpkins that are for free where I come from.
I spend my life living a simple down to earth sort of life, only striving for things that I can afford especially when I have other important things to attend to.e.g other immediate bills.
Clothes, am not a very fashionable person. Personally, loving clothes is just like loving cocktails, the more you taste one the more you feel………more. I buy my clothes from charity shops. Some of the materials from these shops can be as good as those in other shops. I also wait for the end of the season, during summer or winter sales. The secret to financial success is finding cheap stuff in order to rein in spending. Hahahhaha
I buy my schoolbooks and some stuff from the Internet, you can check the following websites for assistance. http://www.amazon.com/, (second hand books) or http://www.ebay.com/, http://www.hallolondon.com/, http://www.gumtree.com/ etc these websites have also assisted me in finding cheap accommodation, computer, entertainment, jobs and other important thing.
Travelling in London, I have my oyster (London’s travel smart card) pre pay card that makes my life so much easier. Oyster card offers discounts prices on tube and bus routes. More information http://www.tfl.gov.uk/long distance travelling, I have been to lots of places, met different lots of people and I love making new friends. I only achieved this through buying tickets in advance; this does not only give me the benefit of planning my journey but also saving few pennies. I also have discount scheme cards that gives me fantastic savings on travel.
More later, time for eastenders. Stacey is pregnant, what will Bradley say…
